How awesome is it to ride in Hampstead Heath and enjoy the swimming ponds and broad views of London! Getting to North London via the bike-friendly London Overground is also very convenient. Even though there are some nice looking shops and pubs around Hampstead Heath you might want to put your meal off until the end of the trail, as there are a couple of pretty steep hills here in the park. There are also pedestrian-only areas and speed limits here and there, but perhaps none of it will bother you much if you think of it as a great opportunity to relax and chill out while in nature.
