Although situated somewhat away from the busy central London the canals are by no means a quiet spot. It is best that you take it slow here, and not only to be safe. After all, the views are amazing with the narrowboats cruising around the canals – and you will find plenty of bars and cafes on the Regent's Canal path between Islington and Victoria Park.
